·     Ten years as the C.E.O. of the largest financial leasing company in Egypt        “Incolease” with total Leased Assets of L.E. 4.5 BLN.

·         Twenty two years of banking experience since 1978 in the area of marketing, credit and risk management with Misr International Bank “MIBank”, the second largest  joint venture bank in Egypt that was acquired recently by S.G.B. in the course of the privatization process launched in Egypt.

·         Ten years as a “Lecturer” at the Institute of “Banking and Finance” at the American University in Cairo (Executive Programs).

·         Five years as a “Part Time Faculty” of “Banking Management and Finance” at the American University in Cairo (Undergraduate Programs).

·         Seven years as a “Non-Executive Board Member” at Middle East Glass Company a major glass container manufacturer with a paid up capital of LE 123 Million.

·         Five years as a “Non-Executive Board Member” at Glaxo Wellcome Egypt a major pharmaceutical manufacturer with a paid up capital of LE 140 Million.

·         Four years as a “Non Executive Board Member” at Stilco Company, a major public sector company specialized in steel structure with a paid up capital of LE 50 Million.

·         Three years as a “Non Executive Board Member” at EGY-CAP Company, a venture capital company established by MIBank and the European Bank for Investment with a paid up capital of LE 70 Million.

·         Two years as a “Non-Executive Board Member” at Allweiller Farid Company, an Egyptian German joint venture company specialized in water pump production with a paid up capital of LE 30 Million.

·         Lecturer in banking and credit analysis at the Arab German Chamber of Industry & Commerce.

Other Achievements

·         Participating in the drafting of the leasing law amendments and discussing its provisions at the economic committee of the Egyptian Parliament.

·         Developing a credit rating system for “MIBank”.

·         Participating in the development of the new organizational structure for “MIBank”.

·         Participating in the Committee formed by “Merill Lynch and Nomura” for the sale and marketing of MIBank shares in the international market.

·         Developing training materials for the American University in Cairo in the area of credit analysis, lending rational, risk management, cash flow analysis, project finance, credit case applications, and financial leasing management.

·         Writing a weekly article in “Alam El Yom” a prominent newspaper for a six months period.

·         Member of the American Chamber of Commerce, The German and French Chambers, British Egyptian Business Association all in Egypt.

·         Active “Associate Member” of the “Colorado Board of Accountancy, U.S.A.”
