Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of Al Ahly Real Estate Development Co. (a leader of the real estate field in Egypt) where the National Bank of Egypt holds 40% of the capital.

Mr. Sabbour is the President of "Engineer Hussein Sabbour Consulting Office" .

Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of several companies whose activities are related to the engineering field such as :

-                     Oriental Resorts for Touristic Development

-                     Al Ahly Urban Investment Co.

-                     Sinai Management and Development Co.

-                     Egyptian Construction & Services Co. (ECSCO)

-                     Misr America for Development

-                     Relantex for Touristic Villages

-                     Egyptian Co. for Entertainment & Tourist Attractions

Mr. Sabbour is a board  member of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) .

Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of the Egyptian Businessmen's Association.

Mr. Sabbour is a board member of the Egyptian Construction Export Council.

Mr. Sabbour is a board member of the Center for advancement of Post-Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering Sciences, Faculty of Engineering – Cairo University.

Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of the Alumni of the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University .

Mr. Sabbour was the Chairman of Sabbour Associates which is considered one of the largest Consulting firms operating in Egypt, Africa and the Arab World.  Sabbour Associates expanded its activities in Europe.

Mr. Sabbour participated in founding the Federation of Consultants from Islamic Countries whose headquarters is at Istanbul and was its Vice Chairman for the first four years after its foundation.

He was the former Chairman of the Egypt-US Business Council .

Mr. Sabbour participated as well in founding the African Business Round Table and was the Vice Chairman for four years.

Participated in founding the first company established in Egypt to handle the BOT projects and was its Chairman for several years.

Moreover, he was the Chairman of Mohandes Bank for a period of more than five years.

He was the Chairman of Real Estate Egyptian Consortium for a period of six years.

Sports & Social Activities:

Mr. Sabbour was the Chairman of the Table Tennis Association for eight years.

Mr. Sabbour is the Chairman of the Egyptian Shooting Club since 1992 till present.
