Kamel Saleh is the Managing Partner of Deloitte - Saleh, Barsoum & Abdel Aziz with more that 20 years of working experience in the field of assurance and advisory services as well as Corporate Finance and Transaction support.

Kamel graduated in Economics and Computer Science from the American University in Cairo, qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the UK in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors in 1991.  Kamel worked in London for five years before moving to Cairo.

Kamel is currently a board member of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones(“GAFI”) which is both the companies’ regulator as well as the investment promotion agency in Egypt.

Kamel Saleh has been a permanent and highly active member of the Egyptian Accounting Standards Setting committee since 1997, Kamel still serves on this committee and has been specifically working on deferred tax issues in addition to other standards.

Kamel is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors.
