The industrial park in Qattamiyah, with a total acreage of 71 acres, 64.25 of which are dedicated to industrial activity, and 3.5 are dedicated to services in addition to streets and spaces. |
| The free zone: |
The free zone in Madinat Nasr occupies 168 acres, it is characterized by falling within the Cairo city boundaries, which means proximity to all services, connection to all postal and railroad paths connecting Cairo to other parts of Egypt. Moreover, it is very close to Cairo Airport, 15 Km only away, which makes access to external markets easier. The zone is supplied with all infrastructure utilities: roads, water network, sanitary drainage, electricity, telephone lines, and comprises a comprehensive customs unit, a port security police station, and a security unit affiliated to the administration available 24 hours a day. The activities vary from food, to weaving and textile, engineering industries, and chemicals. The remaining projects are divided among the activities of storage and service activities, such as computer projects and seismic surveys. |

Tourist sites in Cairo belong to the various eras of Egyptian history. Most prominent are: the Egyptian Museum, the Coptic Museum, the Military Museum of Prince Muhammad Ali, places of worship (the Hanging Church, St. Barbra Church, St. George Church, Al-Azhar mosque, Al-Hussein Mosque, al-Hakim bi Amr Allah, Sayyida Zainab Mosque). Historic sites (the Citadel of Salah el-Din, Cairo Tower, Baron palace). Among the other tourist attractions are: the Pharonic Village, Cairo Conference Center, Cairo Opera House. |
| Mineral Wealth |
